MEET SOME OF THE TEACHERS

Nicole Puranda

Nicole has always wanted to be a teacher and used to play school with my friends when they were small. Nicole completed Levels 2 and 3 in Childcare and Education before going to university to do a Degree in Early Childhood Studies. Nicole later completed her Teacher Training qualification.

Nicole started as a Nursery Assistant when she completed her Level 2, then became a key worker to a group of 2-year-olds after completing her Level 3 qualification. After that, she worked as a Senior Early Years Officer with management duties. She also has previous experience in a primary school as a Teaching Assistant and Nursery Nurse. She has also worked at Southgate College as an HPL in Childcare and as an Assessor.

Additionally, Nicole has taught at an organisation in connection with the Job Centre where the focus was to get minorities back in the workplace. She has been at CANDI since 2012 and has a passion for seeing others achieve and go on to live their dream and believes that this can be achieved through education.
